Monday evenings, January to March 2018 This 8-week course will help you to learn and practice mindfulness in everyday life. It is suitable for most people including those who would like to learn additional ways to manage long-term health conditions. The focus will be on learning how to ground yourself in the present moment and connect with a sense of stillness and calm. The mindfulness practices learned in this course will enable you to understand your reactivity, recognise and step back from negative thinking, relate more whole-heartedly to others and to approach the challenges of life with greater ease and self-compassion. The course is an ideal way to learn a range of mindfulness meditation practices, step-by-step in a supportive environment, or for those who want to reconnect with or refresh their practice.
